About Dr. Richmond
After graduating Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Economics, Dr. Richmond received her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where she graduated valedictorian of her class. While at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and received numerous other awards.  She was active in the student government of her dental school and has been published in dental research literature.  Following the completion of dental school, she entered a general practice residency program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York.

Upon the completion of the one-year general practice residency program, Dr. Richmond returned to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed a three-year residency to specialize in orthodontics.  While completing the residency program in orthodontics, she also attended the School of Biomedical Sciences at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.  She was also a teaching assistant to dental students during her orthodontic residency.

 

Dr. Richmond is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, New Jersey Association of Orthodontics, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontics, New Jersey Dental Association, Mercer County Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry Alumni Association. 

Dr. Richmond combines her experience and education with the latest in orthodontic technology in a comfortable, relaxed setting.  The result is a modern and refreshingly friendly approach to orthodontics.

While away from the office, Dr. Richmond and her husband, Fred enjoy spending time with their two sons, Sean and Scott.
